Nick Thompson

Nick Thompson is a photographer and filmmaker from Seattle, Washington, in the northwestern corner of the United States. He likes to shoot his lifelong friends in the places and atmospheres of Washington State in which they were raised. His film projects include the web series Douglas Fern’s Fact File, a part documentary, part satire about Seattle’s history and current social issues. Nick’s next project is a movie utilizing his still photos, inspired by silent films and the nighttime ambiance of his native neighborhood. The photos will be paired with slowed down music in the style of DJ Screw, whom Nick was introduced to by his friend, rap encyclopaedist Cameron Alexander, creator of the blog Alligator Shoe.Those displayed were taken in Seattle and Bellingham, Washington.
